Accused of Yen Snatching.
Vadodara City Crime Branch has arrested 4 accused who snatched gold chains from the necks of 7 women riding on mopeds in Vadodara city. Total worth more than 3.90 lakhs along with 5 gold chains have been seized from these accused. On the other hand, a private company along with the police conducted a raid from Panjrigar Dargah near Fatepura Char Road in Vadodara and arrested a trader selling duplicate clothes in the name of Puma company. In which the police found Bermudas, T-shirts, track pants and ganji and seized a total of 52,000 worth of goods and detained the businessman under copyright infringement.
4 accused of chain snatching arrested
The police nabbed the accused Sidwarth alias Babu Anilbhai Gupta (Rest. Vadodara, Native-Uttar Pradesh) and his partner Mohmand Sabir alias Sakleen Zakirhushain Panagar (Rest. Vadodara, Native-Uttar Pradesh) with a suspected Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle from Naka of Wadhodia Road Vaikunth-1. During the interrogation of the two, Bhai Lalukumar alias Vikas Anilbhai Gupta and Sagar Maheshbai Parmar were caught with bikes without plates. The police have recovered 5 gold chains worth 2.80 lakhs from the accused and 2 two-wheelers and seized a total of Rs 3,90,410.
The accused were driving a moped near Tarsali Ravi Park Char Rasta, Vadodara, Makarand Desai Road behind Swaminarayan Mandir, Juna Padra Road in front of Ward No. 6 Office, Juna Padra Road behind Reliance Mall, RV Desai Road Goyagate Society on that road as well as the driver. The crime was committed by snatching the gold chain around women’s neck while sitting back. Complaints were made in J.P. Road, Gotri, Navapura and Makarpura police stations in this matter.
A fraudster caught in the name of housing scheme
Vadodara crime branch has arrested Dhiren Rohitbhai Pandya, who has been absconding for the last 8 years in a fraud case of Rs. The accused is originally a resident of Vadodara, however, he was currently residing in the basement of Shanti Niketan Complex near Gangotri Circle in Nikol area of Ahmedabad.

During the checking in Vadodara, it was found that duplicate clothes are being sold in the name of a branded company in a shop called Season Trading Center in Behtul Fazal Complex opposite Panjrigar Dargah near Fatepura Char Rasta. So the employees of the company bought Bermudas, T-shirts and track pants from the shop. Against which a copy of the raw bill was taken. The employees of the company along with the police raided the shop manager Asraf Shahjaha Sheikh (residence- Bismillah Residency, Mitha Paliya, Fatepura) 336 pieces of bermuda, 126 pieces of T-shirt, 20 pieces of track pants and 35 pieces of ganji were found from the shop and a total worth of 52 thousand was seized. had done
