Visuals are taken from 1600 feet for 3D mapping. With the Rath Yatra route being filmed through virtual reality, the live footage of the Rath Yatra will be relayed to the police by polers and different people, with all the details of what will happen on the day being known with access to the police control room.

3D mapping with 3D drones and vertical shooting
This time the Rath Yatra is equipped with technology. This time Ahmedabad police has done virtual reality mapping of Rath Yatra route before Rath Yatra. A 3D shot of every place on the route of the Rath Yatra was shot by an expert. In which every floor, every groove, every floor has been 3D drone and vertical shooting. The shooting of each of these places can be seen with the help of a VR box. In which with the help of technology, the entire route can be known at any time with the help of VR box. The police can also make a plan of which corners to keep the police presence and which places it is not necessary to keep police presence at the time of Rath Yatra. Because of this, man-hours will be saved by using police manpower in the right direction.

A GPS connected vehicle will be attached to the chariot for live location
The police will get the instant information about where the chariot of Lord Jagannath has actually reached this time in the chariot procession of Lord Jagannath. Because this time a GPS connected vehicle will be kept along with the Rath Yatra, based on which vehicle the movement of the chariot and the location of which chariot will be clearly known. For this a special plan is prepared by Ahmedabad Crime Branch and City Police

Tethered drones for the first time in surveillance
Along with foot police patrolling along the Rath Yatra route, there will be drone surveillance for aerial surveillance. In which drones will be continuously flown on the road and all activities will be monitored.

Tethered drones will be used for the first time in the Rath Yatra. These drones are available only in Gujarat Police in the State Police. With this drone, the Rath Yatra can be monitored this year. This drone is connected by a wire, when flying it will fly with the wire. Through this drone, up to 3 km footage can be obtained and inspected. This drone can fly continuously for more than 10 hours. This drone can fly for up to 4 hours even with battery backup when it does not get power.

Anti drone system against unauthorized drones
In addition, the entry drone has been kept to avoid the use of other unauthorized drones. Other drones will be shot down by entry drones. Unauthorized drones other than police cannot fly through this drone. This drone will automatically shoot down unauthorized drones flying within a 2 km range. This drone is used every year. Apart from this, a team of Chetak commandos will also be deployed.

Live feed of two thousand body worn cameras will be available to the police
Special body-worn cameras are to be used for technical surveillance in Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra. 2000 to 2500 police personnel are to join the Rath Yatra this time with body-worn cameras, all live footage of which is to be found at the police control room and at a designated place, so that there is a clear place of the Rath Yatra and any incident on the way, its footage can also reach the police control room and Due to which the police can make further strategy.
