Nine accused in the Best Bakery case were convicted on February 24, 2006, while eight were acquitted, following a trial in a Mumbai court from October 4, 2004. All 9 convicts were sentenced to life imprisonment. In this case, 4 absconding accused were caught in the year 2013.
