The police have launched a campaign to nab the accused who are fleeing to other states after committing serious crimes across Saurashtra, including Rajkot. At that time, the accused named Gajendrasinh alias Sonu Shankarsinh Thakur, a resident of Junagadh Joshipura Nandanvan Society, who has been on the run for 14 years in the crime of kidnapping and murder in Kalavad Panthak of Jamnagar district, has been picked up from Agra city of Uttar Pradesh and handed over to Kalavad police.

PI VV Odedara of Rajkot district LCB said in detail that 115 bigha of agricultural land is jointly owned by Chana Jasdia and his brothers living in Anandpar village of Kalavad. Meanwhile, after Chana’s brother Bhura’s wife went to Mawtar with her children, Bhurabhai gave his share of land to his brothers.

So Bhura’s son Babu filed a court case to get a share of the land. In which he lost the case. On 11-7-2009, Khar Rakhi Babu met with Sagrito and kidnapped Bhurabhai’s brother Chana Jasdia and beat Gondhi Rakhi Chanabhai to death in the wadi of Kharedi village.

After that, Babu’s Sagarit Karan alias Polo Batha Mer and Gajendrasingh alias Sonu threw the dead body of Chana Jesdia in Tapi river to get any evidence of the incident. The murder clause was added after Chana Jasdia’s body was found after a complaint of kidnapping.

Following the complaint, the police arrested the accused involved. While Gajendrasingh alias Sono was constantly clapping the police. Meanwhile, information was received that the accused Gajendrasingh alias Sono, who has been on the run for a long time, was working as a driver in a factory in Agra under the name of Sanju Sisodia.

A team with LCB PSI RK Gohil was sent to Agra so that the 14-year-old continuously clapping accused could not get any scent of police. Where the police team along with the rickshaw driver disguised themselves and arrested Sanju Sisodia after confirming that he was Gajendra Singh.
