Trafficker caught on CCTV camera
An incident has come to light that a smuggler stole 1.35 lakh including jewelery and cash in just 35 seconds at night in front of their four-year-old daughter from the room of a Nepali family who was keeping watch in the parking lot of Sukhsagar Apartment near Jalaram Society on University Road in Rajkot city. The Nepali youth lodged a complaint in Gandhigram police station regarding this and the police conducted an investigation on the basis of CCTV footage.
Mobile phone kept on kitchen platform
Meeksam Thilaswamy Soni (aged 25), who lives in the parking lot of Sukhsagar Apartments in Rajkot city and works as a watchman, has stated in the complaint lodged at Gandhigram police station that he lives with his two children. Yesterday he and his wife Kamala cleaned their room and later the wife paid Rs. 17,000 cash and gold jewelery were kept in the safe and after the safe was not locked, he and his wife started doing their daily work. He went out to the grocery store to buy household items, while he kept his mobile phone on the kitchen platform and the wife also went out to work.
Theft of mobiles, cash and jewellery
Meanwhile the little son was sleeping in the room so the door was open. Later that night, when he returned home, he did not find the mobile lying in the kitchen in the room. After a few minutes, the wife came home and asked him about the mobile phone, he said that he did not know about the mobile phone. Later, the wife opened the iron safe kept in the room to see the mobile, the cash kept in it was Rs. 17,000 in cash and mobile phone and gold jewelery were found. When he and his wife did not find the property worth Rs. 1.35 lakh, they found out that the cash and jewelery had been stolen when they checked the room.
On the basis of CCTV, the search of the accused was carried out
After reporting the incident at Gandhigram police station, the police registered a complaint and started searching for the accused on the basis of CCTV footage. It is worth mentioning that in the CCTV footage, a young man is seen entering at 1 minute at 9 pm, who returns after committing the crime of theft in just 35 seconds, wearing a black T-shirt and jeans pants.
