A married woman living in Sajivav village of Shehra taluk is repeatedly told by her husband that I don’t like you, you are black, I have got another wife. By saying that, they used to torture and thrash. So the married woman, who was tired of the excessive torture of her husband, was forced to die by the husband who did not tolerate torture, and finally the married woman cut her life short by hanging herself.

In the context of this incident, Shankarbhai Narsigbhai Nayak, who lives at Paliya, village of Shehra taluka, stated in his police complaint that his daughter Sangitaben was married to Rajubhai Sukhabhai Nayak, who lives in Sajivav village of Shehra taluka, two and one years ago. Both lived well in the beginning of their married life. In the meantime, Sangitaben had two children and was having a good home life with his daughter and son, but Rajubhai Nayak Avar Navar Sangitaben has got another wife and I don’t like you, you are black. By saying that, they used to torture and fight.

Sangitaben was physically tortured and harassed. So Sangeetaben could not bear the excessive torture of her husband Rajubhai Nayak and Rajubhai Nayak cut her life short by strangling her to meet Sangeetaben. Sangitaben’s father Shankarbhai Nayak filed a complaint against his son-in-law Rajubhai Nayak at the city police station. The police have registered a case and are conducting further investigation.
