The vandalism of a patient in a primary health center in Kanja village of Junagadh’s Vanthali taluka has come to light on CCTV. After registering a police complaint regarding the incident that took place in Kanja PHC on Wednesday, the police has nabbed the accused and taken further action. It has come to light that the accused caused a loss of approximately two lakh rupees.
The doctor did not give a bandage and vandalized in exasperation
A man named Irfan Yunus Sodha went for treatment at the primary health center of Kanja village in Junagadh’s Vanthali taluk on Wednesday and asked the doctor on duty for a bandage. But, the doctor himself asked to tie the bandage. So Irfan got agitated and started vandalizing the health center by taking a wooden stick lying there.
Smashed monitors, doors and cabin glass
Feeling agitated, Irfan broke the glass of the cabin and door of the health center within minutes. The printer, monitor inside the cabin was also broken. Due to this incident, the staff present at the hospital and other patients were in a state of fear.
About 2 lakhs of rupees were damaged by vandalism
A police complaint has been registered that Irfan Sodha vandalized the Kanja Primary Health Center and caused a loss of approximately two lakh rupees. The police have detained the accused and are conducting further investigation.
