A massive fire broke out at Ruchika Vestiges Company in Palej GIDC near the highway in Bharuch taluka early on Wednesday morning. So there was confusion. A team of 10 fire fighters from Bharuch district and Vadodara was running. The fire team brought the fire under control after 5 hours of hard work.

An accidental fire broke out in a company named Ruchika Vestiges at Palej GIDC around 6 am. The fire had assumed a ferocious form as the vestige company had a huge amount of all types of waste including various industrial ones. So people were panicking with fear. When the call of the incident was given to Palej Police and Fire, they rushed to the spot. Firefighters from Bharuch Municipality and other companies, including GIDC, started pouring water continuously to douse the fire. However, due to various materials, one godown caught fire and engulfed another adjacent godown.

The fire with black smoke was visible far in the sky. The help of 2 fire fighters from nearby Vadodara district was also forced to douse the fire. 10 fire fighters controlled the fire after five hours of effort. Regarding the incident, GPCB and Health and Safety Department also rushed to conduct such an investigation.
