In 7 subjects not a single candidate gave the test

PhD entrance exam was conducted in M.S. University. PET Exam 992 candidates were registered for 36 subjects out of which 881 students appeared. Maximum 150 students appeared in Chemical Science. Less than 100 students were enrolled in Commerce.

PET-2023 for PhD was organized at Unit Building and CV Raman Building. A total of 992 candidates registered in the examination held for 36 subjects out of which 881 appeared. In which the highest number of students were enrolled in subjects like Chemical, Life Science, English, Management.

150 students in chemical science and 130 students in life science appeared for stomach examination. Not a single candidate was enrolled in Library Information, Archaeology, Journalism, Computer Science, Performing Arts, Law, Museology. Every year the number of students to do PhD is increasing.

There was no negative marking in the PhD examination. Two papers were taken in which the first paper was of 50 marks and the second paper was of 100 marks. The entrance exam for PhD was conducted at two centers in the university itself in which about 90 percent candidates appeared. Candidates will be eligible for Ph.D. after clearing the entrance of Ph.D.
