Vadodara City MS. So far 82 percent of the students have been placed in the Faculty of Social Work of the University and this figure is likely to cross 90 percent. The Faculty of Social Work has got the fifth position in the national ranking, in which its placement has also proved to be very important.

82 percent placement done
Vadodara M.S. Dean and Head of the University’s Faculty of Social Work Prof. Bhavna Mehta said that we had 97 students in placements in MSB, Master of Social Work and Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) in the year 2022-23. Out of which 79 students have been placed so far. Only 18 students are left with placement now. Thus, 82 percent placement of the faculty has been done. This year we had as many as 36 companies come there for placement. Last year 92 percent placement was done. 82 percent has been done so far this year, but placements are still going on. It is hoped that placements will increase this year as compared to last year.

Highest 14.5 lakh package received
He further said that this year we have received the highest annual package of Rs 14.5 lakh to two students there. Then one student got a package of 11 lakhs and we got an average package of Rs 7.5 lakhs for the students there. Which is a matter of great pride for us. The tireless efforts of our students, the hard work of our teachers have yielded results. Apart from this, alumni, visiting faculty have been very helpful. Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and Registrar also provide great support and guidance, due to which this faculty gets good placement.

No difficulty in finding a job after studies
