Cyclone Biparjoy continued to make landfall till midnight on Thursday. As a result of which heavy rain and strong wind blew in Dwarka, Porbandar and Jamnagar 78 Army personnel who went to Dwarka from Jamnagar Military Station continuously monitored the situation throughout the night from Thursday evening and took necessary relief measures during the night.

To assess the post-landfall situation, the Army conducted regular patrols in Dwarka city, both on foot and in vehicles, during heavy rain and wind. Necessary assistance is being provided to the locals by the administration along with the army personnel in terms of removal of downed trees, electric poles and relief measures as a result of high winds.
