During the disaster of Cyclone Biparjoy, there has been damage in various districts of the state. At present, as per the instructions of the government, the cash dolls have been paid to the affected by the district administration. As far as Patan district is concerned, so far cashdoles have been paid to 2947 affected people in 8 talukas in the district.
A face-to-face survey was conducted by the Taluka Panchayat in Patan district during thunderstorms and rains. After the survey, a total of 1736 adults in Patan district have received Rs. 3,44,600 as cash dolls have been paid. A total of 1,34,160 cash dolls have been paid to 1164 children. Thus a total of 2900 persons have been paid cashdoles of Rs.4,78,760.
The affected people of Patan taluka were shifted to safer places by the administration. A total of 4363 people of the district have been evacuated. Out of which 2900 people have been paid cash dolls. As for the cashdoles paid per taluka in the district, Rs.75400 in Patan, Rs.55360 in Saraswati, Rs.45500 in Siddhapur, Rs. 33920, Rs.53180 in Harij, Rs.25920 in Sami, Rs.189480 in Santalpur.
