Manishaben Ishwarbhai Zapadia, a resident of Thoriyali village in Vinchiya taluk, was married to Ishwarbhai Dhanjibhai Zapadia, who was working as a principal in a government school in Botad in the year 2007. After marriage, Manishaben moved to Botad village. After 3 months of married life, her husband Ishwarbhai started physically and mentally torturing Manishaben and, suspecting her character, threw her out of the house in the clothes she was wearing and beat the cattle, so the petitioner took refuge in her father’s house.
