In a blink of an eye, ISKCON Bridge is now covered with pitch-black tiles. The youths who had gone for a walk on the ISKCON Bridge were shouting. But in the second minute, Nabira, a rich father, created a situation where he killed 9 people with his car, not in an accident, but in a way. Hearing the thoughts of relatives in the accident, everyone’s heart trembled. Bodies were strewn for 200 meters on the bridge. The police were telling the people present that there is nothing wrong with this and then a father found his young son dead and everyone’s heart was melted by the heartbroken cry of the father.

How did the accident happen?
It was around 1 am and a Mahindra Thar without a number plate was heading towards the ISKCON overbridge from Karnavati Club. I don’t know who was in this thar with black film, but it reached a little further and entered behind the dumper. As the Thar was overspeeding, its front end broke. But the dumper kept going without stopping. After this accident, the people from the surrounding gathered to see if anyone was injured or not and to help them. Gradually the crowd started gathering and then a police constable and a home guard jawan also came out from the opposite side. As soon as the accident was reported, he also stood up.

After 10 minutes Kaal Bani Jaguar struck
Around 1.10 pm, a young man named Tathya Patel was coming from Karnavati Club towards ISKCON Bridge with a friend and a girl in a Jaguar car at full speed. This car was running at a speed of approximately 160 kmph. At the place where Thar’s accident took place on the bridge, Tathya drove the car into a crowd of people without any thought. As a result, around 25 people were pelted with screams. The car hit these people at such a speed that all were thrown for 200 meters. The belongings of the injured were found for 200 meters, traces of blood oozing from their bodies.

In the middle of the night, desperate scenes unfolded
In this incident, a total of nine people including a constable and a home guard died on the bridge itself. Many people still hoped that someone would be saved. Hence more than 20 people were taken by ambulance to different places for treatment. When arrangements were made to take the dead body after an hour and a half. Someone’s body was on the bonnet of the car, someone on the ground, someone’s legs were twisted and someone’s lower body was crushed.

There were pools of blood on the road
Gradually police officers arrived and the bridge was closed to traffic. There were pools of blood on the road. No traffic officer arrived for two hours. Local DCP, Joint Commissioner and other police reached there. At this point it started raining and a desperate scene began. Blood was flowing on the road along with the water, seven to eight people were also found by the police lying on the road. Desperate scenes were visible everywhere on the entire bridge.

The police did not know who to save, who to help
When the accident happened, the relatives of some people had reached there and were asking the police that everyone is safe. After a few minutes, the police said that there are some injured here, you see. As a couple went to see the young man lying there, it was his son and he died. Then the police also became complacent when the crying started. Who to save, who to help, what to do amidst all this, a private organization reached there for help.

The four deceased youths lived in the PG
According to the information received from the sources, among the deceased youths, three to four youths living in the PG, who had come to ISKCON from Thaltej a day before, went to see the accident on the bridge and were themselves victims of the accident. Amidst all this, a police constable was talking to his friend near Vastrapur and soon his friend got a call that an accident had taken place on the highway, when he reached there without knowing it, he came to know after a few minutes that his brother had died in the accident. So he was searching everywhere to see his brother’s body.

All government cameras on SG highway closed
IPS officers were investigating the incident which took place at night and were instructing the nearby government CCTV to search for other items. But there an officer said that, Sir, not a single camera is running on this highway. Despite several submissions, the cameras have not started. So, sir, you will not get anything.
