Roads in Balasinore of Mahisagar district are blackout. Where the matter is, MGVCL is demanding 2 crores 87 lakhs from Balasinore municipality as power bill. In this regard, MGVCL did not pay Balasinore Municipality electricity bill and finally the connection of street lights in Balasinore Municipality area has been cut off. Due to which the city is now in darkness.
As per the preliminary information, due to outstanding electricity bill of Rs 2 crore and 87 lakh, this electricity connection has been cut off and MGVCL has issued 2 to 3 notices to the municipality. Finally, an ultimatum of 48 hours was also given to disconnect the electricity connection of the street lights. However, due to non-payment of municipal electricity bills, the connection of street lights has finally been cut off and people are facing a lot of trouble due to darkness on the roads.
