These teams can be sent to Saurashtra or Kutch as soon as the instructions are received from the state government.

A staff of 150 people in 18 teams
Divisional Fire Officer of Ahmedabad Fire Brigade Om Jadeja said in a conversation with Divya Bhaskar that around 18 different teams of Ahmedabad Fire Brigade have been prepared. Ahmedabad Fire Brigade has state-of-the-art equipment like hydraulic operated spreaders, cutters for wood, slabs and Aryans, combi tools and pneumatic bags. The emergency tender vehicle has a 6 KV generator machine with which tree cutting is done by electric cutter machines.

About 10 electric cutter machines were prepared
He further said that when any building collapses or there is work to move debris, there are tools including different machines. Through which debris is removed and operations are carried out. As many as 10 electric cutter machines have been prepared to work simultaneously. With this, if any road is blocked due to falling trees, the tree can be cut and the road can be opened immediately. 85 wooden cutters, 65 slab cutters, 15 emergency tenders, 10 boats have been kept ready by the fire and emergency department as part of the pre-preparation.

As many as six rescue teams are also ready with boats
Six rescue teams are also ready with boats if there is too much water in any place or people need to be rescued from the water. The fire department has 10 boats. It houses rubber boats and fiber boats. Water rescue equipment like rope, rescue line, guide line, safety belt, life boat jacket, life buoy rain are kept. Because of this, even from water, if any rescue operation is to be done, it can be done quickly. All the officers and employees of the fire department have been told to complete all kinds of preparations.
