A complaint has been registered in Rajkot regarding fraud of Rs 17.53 lakh by one more society. Roshanben Sumra has registered a case against Waheed Rau in Thorala Police of Rajkot. It has been mentioned that fraud was committed by the accused by giving monthly savings and one double scheme.

Monthly Savings Scheme in the name of Jeevan Group
Complainant Roshanben Alyas Sumra (aged 45) said in the complaint that my husband works as a laborer in the market yard of Rajkot city and supports my family. In 2018, it was found out from the people living in our neighborhood that Jeevan Gup in Silver Complex Office No.1 opposite Rajkot Manpa East Zone Office, Bhavnagar Road, Rajkot City, and in Office No.202, Karmbhumi Complex, Second Floor, opposite Gundawadi Dispensary, on Canal Road, Rajkot City. Jeevan Amrit Co.Op. Credit Society Ltd. Run by Waheedbhai Abdulbhai Rauma (40 years old) runs a monthly savings scheme in the name of Jeevan Group so that people living in our neighborhood are making their monthly savings there so that I also got Rs. So I first invested Rs.5000 monthly in a 36 month scheme and in this scheme we used to pay Rs.5000 regularly.

Double your rupees in one year
We started to know this Wahidbhai Rauman, so he used to tell us that if you have rupees, invest in my Jeevan Group Manthali Bachat Yojana, then your rupees will double in a year. I have started such a scheme so that we had given Rs.4,55,000 piece by piece to this Vahidbhai Rau in the talks and we were investing Rs.5000 monthly in the first scheme and a total of Rs.1,80,000 for 36 months. In the second scheme, he was investing Rs.5000 per month, out of which a total of Rs.1,80,000 in 36 months was invested in Vahidbhai Rau’s Jeevan Group Monthly Savings Yojana and Jeevan Amrit Co.Op.Credit Society Ltd. Thus we and many other customers were involved in this.

300 members paid money in different schemes
LIC in Wahid Rau in the name of Mandali. In the name of insurance company’s premium and daily savings, monthly savings, fixed deposit for one year, fixed deposit for two years, fixed deposit for three years and schemes to double rupees in five years, we and people with us invested in different schemes. And in order to get money, this Wahidbhai and his agents Ferozbhai and Javedbhai and Nalinbhai and Dilawarbhai and Faizalbhai used to take the money. Around 250 to 300 members were paying in different schemes. The accused committed treachery and fraud after returning some rupees and stopped returning them.
