A complaint has been registered in the Ajidem police station of fraudster Gathia of Surat who built trust by asking an electronics dealer of Rajkot to supply AC at a cheap price from Chennai, placed an order for 45 ACs and got Rs.10.69 lakhs. Regarding the incident, Rajanbhai Vijaybhai Khiraya (age 38) living in front of Swaminarayan Gurukul on Dhebar Road named Nimish Ramnik Korat of Surat as the accused in his complaint and Ajidem Police registered a case under section 406,420 against the accused.

Ordered for such a business at a cheap price
The complainant said in the complaint that he was selling electrical equipment in the name of Shivay Electronics in shop no.4,5 next to Lijjat Papad near Peerwadi in Kotharia area. He buys the second hand goods of the company from Mumbai and when he goes to Mumbai to buy the goods, the accused Nimish Korat also comes to buy the goods. So they know him for two years. Received a call from Nimish on 24.04.2023 saying that a car has been sent to Chennai to buy AC goods. In which Lloyd company’s inverter ACs are cheaper. The price of one ton AC is Rs.23 thousand and one and a half ton is Rs.25 thousand. If you want to take then say so the complainant said yes and they wrote an order for 10 AC of one ton and 15 of one and a half ton total 25 AC which was Rs.6.05 lakhs. Which they transferred Rs.6.05 lakh from RTGS on 24.04.2023.

Money transferred from RTGS to account
On 26.04.2023, the accused received a phone call saying that it is simple AC and the vehicle is still there, if you want to take it, tell me and the price is Rs.22,500 for one ton and Rs.24,500 for one and a half ton. So they ordered 8 units of one ton and 12 units of one and a half ton and transferred a total amount of Rs.4.74 lakhs to their account on 26.04.2023 from RTGS. The next day, on 27th, I told him that today the goods will arrive there in the evening, so I will send the goods to you on 28th.

The bolero driver did not pick up the call

The prosecutor called the accused on 28th and told him that the goods have been sent in a bolero and took the number of the bolero driver from him and called him and told him that I am going to load the goods and will leave after loading the goods. Later, when calling the evening bolero driver, he did not pick up the phone and when he called the trader, he did not pick up the phone either. The next day, while calling the merchant, he picked up the phone and said that the bolero has not arrived today, I will send the goods. Also, when asked about not picking up the phone, he said, I was in the hospital so I didn’t pick up the phone. Asked to send e-way bill to them, it was not sent and stopped picking up the phone. After which his cousin Nikulbhai called and said that he does not take money and give goods to anyone.

Based on the complaint, the Ajidem police conducted further investigation
After which the complainant sent his man Chetanbhai Parmar to Surat on 30.04.2023 and the shop was closed while he was going to Nimesh’s shop. Calling his wife, he said that he is at work so it will take time. Also talking to the accused’s partner Vinubhai, he said that you have not dealt with me so I don’t know anything. So, Nimish Korat of Surat filed a complaint of fraud by writing an order for 45 ACs and transferring Rs.10.79 lakhs and not delivering the goods. Based on the complaint regarding the incident, Ajidem Police has conducted further investigation.
