1 gate of Macchu 3 dam has been opened 2 feet today afternoon to maintain the rule level in Macchu 3 irrigation scheme near Nawa Sadulka village of Morbi district. So the villages under the irrigation scheme have been advised to take precautionary measures and not to go to the river bed. 1 gate has been opened at 2 feet and an outflow of 1832 cusecs has been reported by the Dam Department official.

An alert has been given to 20 villages of Morbi and Malia talukas when 1 gate of the dam is opened. Among them Gorkhijdia, Vanalia, Sadulka, Mansar, Rawapar (river), Amarnagar, Naranka, Gungan, Nagdawas, Bahadurgarh and Sokhda villages of Morbi taluka and Derala, Mahendragarh, Meghpar, Navagam, Rasangpar, Virvidarka, Fatepar, Malia-Miana and Haripar of Malia taluka.
