In Himmatnagar city, due to rain, Motipura National Highway No. 8 got waterlogged to the vehicle drivers. However, when the rains stopped, the water on the road receded.
In Himmatnagar city around Saturday evening, after unbearable steam and sweltering, the sky became cloudy and heavy rain fell. In areas including Tower Chowk, Municipal Road, Motipura area, Sahakari Jean, Mehtapura in Himmatnagar, low-lying areas and roads were filled with rain water. After the intolerable steam and heat, the rain was cooling the atmosphere. Due to torrential rain on Motipura National Highway No.8, the drivers of the vehicles had to suffer as the Bypass Road Jawan Marg was flooded. However, when the rain stopped, the water on the road receded.
There was light drizzle in Prantij Panthak also. Monsoon has been prolonged this year due to Cyclone Biparjoy. At that time, the farmers have started planting groundnut, cotton, diwela in the fields. After the rains in Talod Panthak, the farmers have started plowing in full swing after planting cotton and diwala. Rain was reported in three out of eight talukas of Sabarkantha district between 6 am and 6 pm on Saturday. Himmatnagar received a quarter of an inch of rain in an hour, while Himmatnagar received 17 mm, Prantij 01 mm and Talod 03 mm.
