According to a vegetable seller in Ghazipur, the supply of tomatoes has decreased due to rains. He said that people do not even come to buy tomatoes. According to ANI, vegetable sellers said that if you want to buy good quality tomatoes, the price is Rs 120 per kg. He said he did not know when the prices would come down.

A big increase in the price of these vegetables

In Shimla, tomato is being sold at Rs 100 per kg. Apart from this, capsicum, pumpkin, cabbage and brinjal are selling at high prices. Cabbage and pumpkin prices have gone up, a person told ANI. A local resident said that the prices of vegetables have increased in the last 15 days. A month ago ginger was Rs 100 per kg, today it has become Rs 300 per kg. The person said that 15 days ago vegetables were available for Rs 100 as required, but today it is not possible even after paying Rs 200.

Tomatoes are being sold at Rs 140 per kg in Delhi. Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi, the largest market in Asia. In which the price of tomato is 60 to 120 rupees per kg.

Rains and heat in Madhya Pradesh have led to a record rise in vegetable prices. Here, tomatoes are sold at Rs 140 per kg, while wholesale tomatoes are selling at Rs 2200 to 2300 per carat. The cost of coriander and chillies is Rs 125 per kg.

In Bihar, the prices of cauliflower, cauliflower, potato and onion have increased to a record. The price of one kg of cabbage is Rs 60 per kg, the price of onion has increased from Rs 20 to Rs 30 per kg. On the other hand, coriander costs over Rs 110 per kg while ginger costs Rs 132 per kg.

In Assam, tomatoes are being sold for Rs 100 to 120. The price of chili is 450 to 500 rupees per kg. In West Bengal, tomato has increased from Rs 40 per kg to Rs 130 to Rs 150 per kg. The price of green chillies has increased from Rs 300 to Rs 350 per kg.
