Share Market Investors: The ongoing bumper boom in the Indian stock market has made investors rich. Due to this, the wealth of investors has increased by Rs 7.90 lakh crore in the last 5 days. Domestic bourses continued to rally for the fifth straight trading session on Tuesday with the BSE Sensex surging 274 points to hit a fresh high of 65,479.05 points. During the trading, the Sensex at one point climbed up by 467.92 points to reach 65,672.97 points. In the last five days in the stock market, investors’ wealth rose by Rs. 7,90,235.84 crore increased to Rs. 2,98,57,649.38 crore has reached a record level.
According to experts, the market is optimistic. However, profit-booking is also seen at high levels as the market reaches record highs. The market’s focus has now shifted to sectors such as information technology, commodities and public sector banks. Among the Sensex stocks, Bajaj Finance was the strongest gainer at 7.71 percent. Apart from this, gains were seen in Bajaj Finserv, Tech Mahindra, Sun Pharma, NTPC, Titan, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Infosys, State Bank of India and ITC. On the other hand, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, Reliance Industries, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel and Ultratech Cement declined. The BSE Midcap (index of medium-sized companies) index fell 0.22 percent while the Smallcap (index of small companies) gained 0.05 percent. Srikant Chauhan, Head of Research (Retail) at Kotak Securities Ltd. said, “The market is bullish. Benchmark indices closed at record highs despite a mixed trend in other Asian markets and a weak trend in European markets.
On July 4, the Sensex closed at an all-time high of 65,479.05 points. The record went up to 65,672.97 points during trading. On July 3, the Sensex crossed the 65,000 mark for the first time. The Sensex touched the 64,000-point level for the first time during the day’s trade on June 28. On November 30, 2022, the Sensex touched the 63,000-point mark for the first time. On the other hand, on October 19, 2021, Sensex touched the figure of 62,000 during trading. On September 24, 2021, the Sensex crossed the 60,000-mark both during trading and at the end of the day for the first time.
