Stock Market Today: Finally the stock market has touched a new record high and Nifty has hit a record high after 7 months. The stock market has started with a tremendous growth. After December 1, 2022, Nifty opened at a new high. Sensex managed to open above 63700.
How the market opened
The BSE Sensex opened at 63,701.78, up 731.78 points or 1.16 percent. At the same time, the Nifty opened at 18,908.15, making an all-time high.
At 09:16 hours, the Sensex was up 210.38 points or 0.33 percent at 63,626.41 and the Nifty was up 58.30 points or 0.31 percent at 18,875.70. About 1,575 stocks advanced, 407 stocks declined and 85 stocks remained unchanged.
On the Nifty, Adani Enterprises, Divis Labs, Eicher Motors, Tata Motors and SBI were the top gainers, while ONGC, Power Grid Corp, Ultratech Cement, NTPC and Cipla were the top losers.
Positive signal from global market
On the closing day of the June series, positive signals are coming from the global market. The SGX Nifty rose a quarter percent. Asia is having a mixed trade. US markets closed strong yesterday with the Nasdaq and S&P 500 up more than one percent.
In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei has reached 280 points. However, the Korean markets are showing softness. Earlier, the Nasdaq, S&P and Dow rose more than 1.5% on strong buying in US markets. Yesterday i.e. Tuesday, the BSE Sensex rose 446 points to close at 63,416.
Statistics of FII and DII
On June 27, foreign institutional investors in Indian markets poured Rs. 2024.05 crore was purchased. On this day, local institutional investors invested Rs. 1991.35 crores were sold.

Yesterday’s market move
On Tuesday, the second business day of the week, the local stock market ended a three-session decline. Markets closed on the green mark with a tremendous rally. The BSE Sensex closed at a new all-time high with a surge of 446 points. The Nifty also climbed 126 points to hit a record high of 18,817.40 points. Banking stocks saw heavy buying in the latter half of the trading session after HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh said the HDFC-HDFC Bank merger would be effective from July 1.
BSE’s 30-share benchmark Sensex ended up 446.03 points, or 0.71 per cent, at 63,416.03 points. During trading, the Sensex touched a high of 63,467.54 and settled down at 63,054.84. Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) gained 126.20 points or 0.68 per cent. The Nifty ended the day at 18,817.40. The Nifty touched a high of 18,829.25 and settled down at 18,714.25 during the trading session.
