Stock Market Today: Indian market got off to a sluggish start today amid mixed signals in global markets. The Sensex was up 75.66 points or 0.12% at 63,055.03 and the Nifty was up 17.30 points or 0.09% at 18,682.80. About 1319 stocks advanced, 990 stocks declined and 181 stocks remained unchanged.
Tata Consumer Products, Ultratech Cement, ICICI Bank, HUL and Cipla were the top gainers on the Nifty, while Adani Enterprises, HDFC Life, Adani Ports, Bharti Airtel and TCS were the top losers.
Following the news of delisting of ICICI Securities, the stock has seen a huge jump. The stock jumped 15 percent at the open though has seen some profit-booking since.
US futures are slightly bullish. On the other hand, American markets closed lower on Friday. SGX Nifty is trading down 60 points after opening at 18827 in today’s trading session. At the same time, SGX futures on the Singapore Exchange hit a high of 18876 in the early trading session on June 26. In the last trading session, the BSE Sensex closed down 260 points at 62979. While the Nifty 50 index fell 106 points to close at 18666.
European market
European stock markets closed lower on Friday after four sessions of decline. The Stoxx 600 index closed down 0.3 percent. Most of its sectors were closed in red mark. Oil and gas stocks were down 2.2 percent and mining stocks were down 1.7 percent as oil prices fell. Health care and telecom stocks were marginally higher. Elsewhere, the FTSE closed down 0.54 percent at 7,461 points. The DAX closed down 0.99 percent at 15,829 points.
Statistics of FII and DII
On June 23, foreign institutional investors in Indian markets poured Rs. 344.81 crores were sold. Local institutional investors also contributed Rs. 684.01 crore was sold.

Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics, Hindustan Copper, L&T Finance Holdings, Punjab National Bank and RBL Bank are under F&O ban on NSE on 26th June.
