Stock Market Today: Today’s movement of the Indian stock market is very encouraging and the Nifty has opened at a new record high. Sensex is also seeing an all time high level.

How was the market opening?

BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opened up 239.03 points, or 0.36 per cent, at 66,828.96, its all-time high, in early trading today. Apart from this, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty managed to open at 19,787.50 with an increase of 76.05 points or 0.39 per cent. This is also its new record high.

US market

US stock markets traded higher on Monday. Anticipation of better-than-forecasted corporate earnings buoyed the market. But both global markets and the dollar saw some slack after China’s economy grew slower than expected. On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.22 percent, the S&P 500 was up 0.39 percent and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.93 percent.

Asian market

Asian markets are witnessing mixed business today. GIFT NIFTY is currently up by 35 points. At the same time, the Nikkei is seen around 32,418.25 with an increase of about 0.08 percent. At the same time, the strait times showed weakness of 0.11 percent. The Taiwan market is trading 0.35 percent lower at 17,273.16. While the Hang Seng is seen at the level of 19,086.25 with a decrease of 1.70 percent. At the same time, the Kospi is trading down 0.63 percent. At the same time, the Shanghai Composite was down 0.33 percent at 3,193.44.

European market

European stock markets closed lower on Monday. The regional Stocks 600 index closed down 0.6 percent, with most sectors and major markets in decline. Stocks of household goods fell by 2.6. While bank stocks rose by 0.5 percent.

On July 17, foreign institutional investors in the Indian markets poured Rs. 73 crore was purchased. Local institutional investors also contributed Rs. 64.34 crore was purchased.
