Stock Market Today: New records are being made in the stock market every day and this trend continues even today. Historically, for the first time, Sensex opened above 65500. Nifty has also opened above 19400. Bank Nifty is also trading with a strong bounce today and Bank Nifty opened very close to 45300. Today, with a surge of over 5 percent, Bajaj Finance shares are openly supporting the market tremendously.

How was the market opening today?

The stock market opened again at a record high in the market opening today. BSE’s 30-share index Sensex managed to open up 298.80 points or 0.46 percent at 65,503.85. Apart from this, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty opened up 84.05 points or 0.43 per cent at 19,406.60.

American stock market

On Monday, the American market saw a slight increase. The Dow Jones edged up 0.03%, the S&P 500 index 0.12% and the Nasdaq Composite edged up 0.21%. The US market will be closed today. Tesla shares were the biggest gainer in yesterday’s trade, up 6.9%. The company recently released delivery and production numbers that beat analysts’ estimates. Following the rally in Tesla, other EV makers Rivian, Fisker and Lucid also saw gains yesterday.

Meanwhile, Asian markets are witnessing mixed business today. The movement of GIFT NIFTY is flat. At the same time, the Nikkei is seen around 33,392.29, down about 1.08 percent. At the same time, the straight times showed weakness of 0.18 percent. The Taiwan market is trading 0.01 percent higher at 17,086.15. While the Hang Seng is seen at the level of 19,347.70 with an increase of 0.21 percent. At the same time, the Kospi is trading down 0.26 percent. While Shanghai Composite is doing flat business.

Foreign institutional investors in the cash market on the first trading day of the month added Rs. 1,995.92 crore worth of shares were purchased. While domestic institutional investors in the cash market yesterday poured Rs. 337.80 crore was sold.
