Stock Market Today 03 July, 2023: Nifty Above 19250, Sensex Crosses 65,000

Stock Market Today: There were signs of a bang opening in the stock market today right from the pre-opening. In the pre-opening of the market, Nifty touched a record high and Bank Nifty was also trading at a record high. The stock market is trading at a record high for the third day in a row. Nifty has crossed 19250 for the first time and Bank Nifty has crossed 45,000 for the first time. Sensex has crossed 65,000 for the first time.

The Sensex was up 282.85 points or 0.44% at 65,001.41 and the Nifty was up 81.30 points or 0.42% at 19,270.30. About 1801 shares advanced, 511 shares declined and 163 shares remained unchanged.

M&M, Ultratech Cement, JSW Steel, HDFC and Eicher Motors were the top gainers on the Nifty, while Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid Corp, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp and Asian Paints declined.

A boom in the American market

US markets closed on Friday with a good pace. The Dow closed up 285 points. The S&P 50 index closed up 1.23 percent and the Nasdaq rose 1.45 percent. Tech stocks saw a good rally. Apple shares jumped 2.3 percent. Apple’s market share exceeded $3 trillion. Nvidia also saw a good growth of 3.6 percent. Nvidia has seen a surge of over 189 percent in 1 year. Shares of Netflix rose 2.9 percent. At the same time, Meta and Amazon closed up 1.9 percent.

While Brent crude is crossing $75 with a slight increase. Meanwhile, US core PCE inflation is showing signs of softening. Today the US market will be trading for half a day only. The US market will be closed on Tuesday. Tuesday is a holiday for Independence Day.

Asian markets bounce

Asian markets are also seeing a boom today. SGX Nifty is seen above 35.00 points. At the same time, Nikkei is seen around 33704.73 with an increase of 1.53 percent. The Straits Times also showed an increase of 0.24 percent. At the same time, the Taiwan market is trading at the level of 17067.37 with an increase of 0.90 percent. While the Hang Seng is seen at the level of 19176.46 with an increase of 1.43 percent. At the same time, the Kospi is seeing a 1.35 percent gain. While the Shanghai Composite showed a growth of 0.94 percent at the level of 3232.29.
