Senco Gold Listing, Senco Gold Shares Listed At 36% Premium On BSE

Senco Gold Listing: Jewelery retail company Senko Gold has listed on the stock exchange on Friday, July 14, 2023 with an impressive rally. Jewelery retailer Senko Gold on the BSE traded at Rs. 431, which is its Rs. 317 was a premium of 36 percent over the issue price. The stock traded on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at Rs. It opened its first trading session at 430 with a premium of 36 percent.

The Kolkata-based company had a market cap of ₹3,347 crore, according to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Senko Gold’s IPO was well received by investors.

Sonco Gold’s IPO opened from July 4th to July 6th. The company raised Rs. 405 crore has been collected. Total IPO has been subscribed 73.35 times. The lucky investors who applied for the IPO on 11th July have been allotted shares. The company has set an IPO price band of Rs. 301-317 per share was fixed. With the proceeds raised from the IPO, the company will spend on other capital funds and general corporate needs.

The response to the IPO can be gauged from the fact that the reserved quota for institutional investors was subscribed a total of 181 times. 65 times the quota of non-institutional investors and 15.46 times of the reserved quota for retail investors were subscribed.

Senko Gold is the largest retail jewelery company in East India. The company sells gold, diamond, platinum jewelery and silver jewellery. The company is also present on the online platform. The company has a total of 136 showrooms out of which 75 showrooms are owned by the company itself. And 61 stores are operating at franchise malls. The company has showrooms in 96 cities. More than 60 percent of the company’s showrooms are in West Bengal. In the financial year 2022-23, the company’s revenue was Rs 4108 crore and profit was Rs 158 crore. Let us tell you that the company has been in the jewelery industry for more than 50 years. In terms of stores and retailers, the company is the largest organized jewelery retailer in East India. Senko Gold also sells jewelery made from gold and diamonds and jewelery made from silver, platinum and precious stones and other metals.
