Weather Update Today: Due to heavy rains across the country, people’s life has become chaotic. Rivers in the mountains have flooded due to heavy rains. Roads in the plains have become an ocean. The situation in many states is such that in some places buses, trucks, cars are sinking and in some places houses have collapsed like palaces of cards. The monsoon which entered in the month of June has now put people’s lives at risk.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, a flood-like situation has also occurred in Delhi. People’s houses have been flooded in posh areas of the state. Many MPs’ houses have also been flooded. The water level of Yamuna in the national capital has risen above the danger mark. The administration has issued an alert for the public. Along with this, a warning has also been given to avoid any accidents. According to the department, there is a possibility of heavy rains along with thunderstorms in Delhi for the next one week.

Heavy rains have been faced in different states

Bengaluru gets flooded every year because there is no system to drain the water flow with heavy rains.

In 2014, there was a dangerous flood in Srinagar. In September that year, it rained so dangerously in just four days that the Jhelum River flooded.

Kerala receives dangerous rainfall every year. In 2018, this rain created a large-scale threat. Uttarakhand tragedy is also the most horrific example of such fear. Since then, the country has been experiencing continuous heavy rains every year, although scientists have warned that the occurrence of heavy rains will increase with warming in the coming years. Experts say the increase in the number of heavy rain events in many parts of the country is directly linked to climate change.

It is known that on July 10 Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab. Heavy rain is likely in Haryana, Rajasthan. On the other hand, heavy rain is likely in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh on July 11.

Not only India but also other countries are facing dangerous rains. Torrential rains have triggered landslides in western Japan that have left one dead and three missing. Let us tell you that authorities have asked thousands of people to leave their homes in view of the risk of further landslides and floods.
