India Floods 2023: The rainy season is not proving good for India. Many states of the country are experiencing unexpectedly heavy rains this year. From the capital Delhi to Haryana and Himachal Pradesh are facing devastation. Due to which there has been a lot of loss of life and the economy has suffered a loss of thousands of crores of rupees.

The name of Himachal Pradesh is also included among the states which have suffered the most in this year’s rains. Heavy rains have created havoc in many places in the state. Due to heavy rains many rivers have taken a raging form. Dams, bridges, hundreds of houses, markets and vehicles have been affected by this water. If Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is to be believed, the state has suffered a loss of around Rs 8000 crore due to heavy rains for the past few weeks.

On Friday, the Himachal government said about a loss of around Rs 4000 crore. A report by news agency ANI, quoting the revenue department of the state government, said that the state has suffered a loss of Rs 3,738.28 crore due to floods and rains. Pictures and videos of the destruction in the state are also going viral on social media.
The danger is not over yet
Different reports state that Himachal Pradesh has suffered the most due to natural disasters this season. It is sad that this trend of weather and fear has not averted. The Meteorological Department says that heavy rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh for the next few days. According to the department, heavy rain is likely in the state till July 18.
Central government sent help
The Central Government has announced the second installment in the advance to the State Disaster Response Fund. Under this, 180.40 crore rupees have been announced by the central government. The central government has already given an installment of Rs 180.40 crore. The first installment was released on 10 July. 11 teams of NDRF have been deployed for relief and rescue operations in the state.
