Report According to a shopkeeper named D Rajesh gave this great offer. Rajesh, 38, runs a vegetable shop called DR Vegetables and Onion in Selkuppam area. He traveled from Bengaluru in Karnataka to Rs. Ordered 550 kg of tomatoes at 60 per kg. However, suffering a loss, he sold whole tomatoes cheaply to the needy.

Rajesh was also aware of this beforehand. This is the reason why he made it a condition for the buyers that the customer cannot buy more than one kg of tomatoes. Rajesh says that the one kg condition was necessary so that more people could benefit from cheap tomatoes.

Prices of other vegetables are also skyrocketing. These vegetables include ginger to chilies.
