Ban on poor quality footwear
One July ie from today, an important and interesting change is related to your footwear. The Central Government has announced implementation of Quality Control Order (QCO) across the country from July 1, 2023. Implementation of this rule will ban the sale of poor quality footwear in the country. All footwear companies will be required to follow these rules. In such a situation, the production and sale of poor quality footwear will be banned in the country from July 1.
HDFC Bank became the fourth largest bank in the world
Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited Chairman Deepak Parekh said on Tuesday that the corporation’s merger with HDFC Bank will be effective from July 1. HDFC Bank and HDFC have merged with effect from 1 July. After the merger, HDFC Bank became the fourth largest bank in the world in terms of market cap.
LPG price changes
Petroleum companies review the prices of Petrol-Diesel and LPG on the 1st of every month. July 1 i.e. today new LPG cylinder rates have been issued. According to Indian Oil’s website, the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder and 19 kg commercial cylinder has not been changed.
Banks will be closed for 15 days
Banks will be closed for a total of 15 days in the month of July as per the list of bank holidays issued by the Reserve Bank of India. However, these holidays also include Saturday and Sunday holidays. Some of these holidays will be applicable only in limited states according to local festivals. If there is any important work related to the bank, complete it as soon as possible.
If Aadhaar-PAN is not linked then there will be trouble
If you have not yet linked your Aadhaar card and PAN card, you may face a problem from July 1. The last date for Aadhaar PAN linking was today i.e. 30 June 2023. This means if you have not linked your Aadhaar PAN today, your PAN card will be deactivated from today i.e. 1st July, 2023. You may get relief if the government extends the date of Aadhaar and PAN linking.
