Air India: Another case of in-flight urination has come to light, now an Air India flight where a passenger urinated on the floor. The incident took place in a flight coming from Mumbai to Delhi, after which the accused was arrested at the Delhi airport. A complaint was filed by the flight captain at the police station at IGI Airport, after which the Delhi Police arrested the accused from there. The name of the accused has been given as Ram Singh.
Even after warning the person did not stop
According to information, the incident took place on June 24 in Air India flight AIC 866. According to the FIR registered at the police station, a passenger named Ram Singh defecated and urinated on the floor of the plane and then spat. Meanwhile, the crew members gave verbal warning to the passenger, but still he did not stop, police sources said.
The captain informed the security personnel
According to the information provided by the airlines, the cabin crew informed the captain of the flight after being alerted. After this, the captain sent a message to the company, asking the airport security to arrest the accused person at the airport. The airline company said that people traveling together objected to this and became very angry, after which the cabin crew calmed down all the passengers. All were told that the accused would be handed over to the police.
The accused got bail
According to information, the accused person works as a cook in Africa. Which was Air India flight AIC 866 going to Mumbai. Speaking to news agency ANI, a senior Delhi Police official said, ‘Delhi Police has registered a case under Section 294/510 on the complaint of the flight captain. The accused passenger was arrested, after which he was interrogated. He was produced in court, from where he got bail. The case is currently being investigated.
One such incident was reported on November 26, 2022, in which an intoxicated man allegedly urinated on a female co-passenger on board an Air India flight from New York to Delhi. Just ten days later, on December 6, another incident was reported of an intoxicated male passenger urinating on a female passenger’s blanket on a Paris-New Delhi Air India flight.
