Aadhar-Pan Link: If you haven’t linked your Aadhaar card and PAN card yet, do it immediately. Because today June 30 is the last date to do so. You also have to pay an invoice of Rs 1000 for linking Aadhaar card and PAN.
What happens if the link doesn’t work?
If you are unable to link Aadhaar card and PAN today on June 30, then your PAN card will be deactivated.
How to check whether PAN is linked with Aadhaar or not
If you are not sure whether your Aadhaar and PAN are linked, you can find that too. You can check link status both online and offline.
First know offline way to check status
To check offline status, send UIDPAN to 567678 or 56161 from phone number. After this, a message will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Check online like this
Go to Income Tax website https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/
Go to Quick Link and tap on ‘Link Aadhaar Status’.
A new page will open. Enter your PAN number and 12 digit Aadhaar number here. After this click on View Link Aadhaar Status.

Go to Income Tax Filing website https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/
Register. If already registered then your PAN number will be the user ID.
Log in by entering User ID and Password (Date of Birth).
A new window will pop up. Here you will be asked to link PAN with Aadhaar. You go to the menu bar and go to ‘Profile Settings’ and click on ‘Link Support’.
According to the information provided in the PAN card, date of birth and gender will already be mentioned.
If there is any miss match between PAN information and PAN then you have to correct it.
If your Aadhaar and PAN information match, enter your Aadhaar number and click on the link Now button.
A pop-up message will appear stating that your Aadhaar has been successfully linked with PAN.
