Presently the symptoms of eye disease are observed in Bhavnagar city and rural level by the Department of Naturopathy and Yogic Science running at Nandkunwarba Mahila College Devarajnagar affiliated to Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University. To avoid this, the program of eye clay bandage was organized.

At present, symptoms of eye disease are being seen in Bhavnagar city and rural areas for the past few days due to eye heat. Symptoms like eye redness, eye pain, swelling are being observed. For the students studying at Nandakuvarba Mahila College-Devarajanagar, the DNYS department conducted an eye mud patch program with naturopathic treatment to prevent the symptoms of eye diseases. In which the students were given guidance on how to remove eye heat through clay.

What precautions should be taken in conjunctivitis?

  • Both should not touch the eyes until then, and if touching, hands should always be washed with soap before and after.
  • Close contact with other people should be avoided. So that this disease can be prevented from spreading.
  • Don’t let someone else use your personal items.
  • If wearing contact lenses, you should avoid using them for a limited time.
  • Black colored goggles should be used when going out or in direct contact with other people when having conjunctivitis.
