A month ago in Jodhpur-Sabarmati passenger train, three persons showed a knife to the passenger and transferred money from the mobile phone. In which the railway police had earlier arrested two accused. While the main accused was picked up by the Bhildi police from Jodhpur on Tuesday.
In Jodhpur-Sabarmati passenger train between Dhanera to Mehsana railway station on 16-Jun-2023 from 9-30 to 11-50 hrs, Vijeshkumar Nagaram Meghwal (26 years old, Res. Shingwas, Dist. Raniwada, G. Jalore) was threatened with a knife and paddle in the disabled coach of the railway and took his mobile phone and showed his passwords online from the mobile phone. The money was transferred to the accounts of relatives of different accused.
Also, the railway police had earlier arrested the two accused who committed the crime of robbery to Mehsana railway station by threatening to kill Vijeshkumar. When the main accused Ramesh Bhelnath Nath (B.W.19, Res.Mahadev Bagh Pali, T.G.Pali-Rajasthan) was arrested from Jodhpur on July 18 and looted items, mobile etc. were recovered from his possession, further investigation is being conducted by PSI BK Parmar.
