Since Ajit Pawar has become the Deputy Chief Minister, he can tamper with documents, set fire to files, influence the investigation process in the Lavasa case, so the petitioners requested the court to conduct an urgent hearing. The court accepted the request and fixed the next hearing on July 21, which is likely to increase the troubles of Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule.

A CBI probe was demanded in the matter and a criminal case was filed. As the Maharashtra police could not act due to pressure, they demanded an inquiry through the CBI. The administration has also ignored the report given by the CAG and Lokayukta in Lavasa case and according to the report filed by the Lokayukta, the petitioner has also claimed that the project has caused a financial loss of Rs 5 to 10 thousand crores to the government exchequer.

In the year 2018, the complaint made to the Pune Police Commissioner was sent by the Commissioner to Paud Police Station. But the Poud police again sent this complaint to the Commissioner of Police.
