Instagram Live Activity Feature: Meta recently launched the Threads app. The app has crossed 80 million userbase. Threads app is connected with Instagram and you can login to it using Instagram ID. Meanwhile, the company is testing a new feature in the Instagram app. The new feature will be known as Live Activity.

The company is currently testing it on iOS. Under this feature, whenever you post a post or video in Instagram, you will see the live activity of the post on the lock and home screen to see how complete it is.

So far it happens that if you post any post or video or reel, we have to open the app again and again to see the uploaded percentage. The idea does not come without opening the app. But now soon iOS users will get post update on lockscreen after live activity feature. As 9to5Mac reader Fernando Moreto noted, the Instagram app now shows live activities. With its help, users will be able to see the live activity of the app on both the lock screen and the dynamic island. Currently this feature will be available only for IOS users.

This feature was recently rolled out

Instagram has recently given users a ‘Download’ option to download reels. This feature is currently rolled out for US users. Users can now directly download public reels with a single click. For this they don’t need to save it by sharing it on story.

In addition, Meta announced last month that the ‘Why Am I Watching This?’ will launch. Expanding the option for Instagram and Facebook Reels. The company is making this feature available on Instagram’s Explore page so that users can understand why a particular post is being shown to them.

Twitter: Will threads replace Twitter? Insta head only gave the answer

2 days Two days ago, Meta launched Threads, a Twitter rival app in more than 100 countries. So far more than 70 million people have downloaded this app. Threads has set a new record by achieving such a huge user base in just a few days. Even though the app’s user base is growing rapidly, people are liking this app less than Twitter. The reason for this is app glitches and less features.

After the launch of this app, many people asked this question on Twitter and Threads, will Threads replace Twitter? Now this question has been answered by the head of Instagram, Adam Moseri.
