Meta has been working on this app for a long time which has finally been launched. You can download the app on both Android and IOS. Meta has launched Threads as a standalone app but users can also login to it using Instagram.
Mark Zuckerberg posted on the app with a fire emoji Welcome to the Lets Do This threads. At the launch of the app, analysts said investors were happy because Threads was tied to Instagram, which would increase Threads’ user base and provide a platform for advertising. Analysts also said that Threads could take away advertisers from Twitter as Twitter has not yet been able to please advertisers.
