Visavdar Gauchar land 52 was being requested by the petitioner for vacating the land under pressure. And an application was made by the petitioner to the Collector to proceed for land grabbing. Taking into account this application, three farmers have been arrested against the various provisions of land grabbing by the district level land grabbing committee.

52 trespassers of gauchar land were registered against Mansukh Vallabhbhai Khaveliya, Bhikhu Madhabhai Khaveliya and Bhikhu Ravjibhai Amipara of Kalsari village living in Hanumanpara of Visavadar. The arrest of three farmers of Visavadar Panthak in the case of lane grabbing has created a sensation in the entire Panthak.

In this regard, Junagadh DySP Hitesh Dhandalia said that a complaint under the Land Grabbing Act has been filed by the Junagadh District Land Grabbing Committee at the Visavdar Police Station at the Visavdar Police Station in which Bhikhubhai Amipara, Bhikhubhai Khaveliya and Mansukhbhai Khaveliya, three persons of Visavdar, have encroached on government cattle land at Visavdar. In which the government land was illegally occupied and encroached by these three isms.

By Bhikhubhai Ravjibhai Amipara, 12 bighas of his own land, along with 24 bighas of government gauchar’s land were seized and stolen. A residential house and a water bore were also constructed by Bhikhubhai Amipara in this land and the electricity connection was also taken illegally.

Soybean and other crops were also planted on Gouchar’s land by two other persons. The gauchar land occupied by Bhikhubhai Amipara then was distributed to another farmer saying it was his own land. Apart from the land owned by Bhikhubhai Khaveliya and Mansukhbhai Khaveliya, other crops like mango, groundnut, soybean were also planted in the government gauchar land. had done

After measuring the land by the Land Grabbing Committee, it was found that more than 40 Bigha of land was occupied by these three ISMOs. The Land Grabbing Committee also gave notice to these three ISMOs to vacate this land in 2022. Finally, these three ISMOs did not vacate the land. A case of land grabbing was registered by the committee against three persons in the Visavadar police station.

For the last four to five years, these three persons had occupied the government gauchar land. And the three accused were arrested by the Landgrabbing Committee in Visavadar while different crops were also being grown in Gauchar land by these three Mayals and the investigation is ongoing.
