Stock Market Closing: There has been a break in the ongoing boom in the Indian stock market for the last one week. Wednesday’s trading session saw a sharp ups and downs in the Indian stock market. Sensex lost 220 points and Nifty 50 points during the day’s trading. But the market saw a recovery from the lower levels within hours. However, the BSE Sensex ended marginally lower by 33 points at 65,446 and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty rose 9.50 points at 19,398.

Shares of auto, IT, pharma, FMCG, metals, media energy, consumer durables, healthcare, oil and gas sectors witnessed gains in today’s trade. While the banking and financial sector shares remained closed. Shares of the mid-cap sector saw a sharp rise. It closed up 0.71 per cent or 252 points at 36,024 points on buying in mid-cap stocks. Small cap stocks also saw gains.

After opening on a bullish note, the stock market crashed
The steady growth process of the Indian stock market is seen to stop today and the Sensex has started to slow down today. Although the Sensex and Nifty opened with green signs of growth in the market opening, both the important indices slipped to the downside as soon as the market opened. Although the Bank Nifty opened above 45100, it started in the red.
How was the start of the market?
Domestic bourses opened on a modest note with BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opening marginally higher by 14.63 points at 65,493.68. On the other hand, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty opened marginally higher by 16.95 points at 19,405.95. At the same time, the Sensex and Nifty slipped into the red in the opening minutes, soon after opening at the green mark.
