A worker, who was welding on a shed in a marble company located at Athal village in Danah, died on the spot due to serious injuries after falling down. Chandu Bhikhubhai U.V.41, a resident blacksmith, who was doing welding work at the shed of Salasar Marble Industries Company located in Athal Industrial area, lost his balance while working and fell down from the shed, in which he died on the spot due to serious injuries.

Naroli PSI Suraj Raut and his team reached and took possession of the body and sent it to the civil hospital for PM. The family of the deceased also reached the spot and alleged that the company did not provide any safety equipment. If there were safety devices, maybe Chandu’s life could have been saved. The deceased Chandu has two children and the only earning member in the family has been demanded by the company to compensate his family. Naroli police has registered a complaint about this incident and is conducting further investigation.
