While the state including Saurashtra has been receiving heavy rains for the last 48 hours, Rajula Dhatrawadi Dam 1 has overflowed due to heavy rains in Amreli district as well. Also still the water income is increasing continuously due to which high alert has been given.

Due to overflowing of Dhatrawadi Dam-1, written information has been given to the Talati Ministers of the village Sarpanches of the low-lying Old Manderdi, New Manderdi Dhareshwar, Zapodar. An instruction has been given not to move in the river bank area. Due to continuous inflow of water, water is flowing in Dhatrawadi river which may lead to flood situation due to which alert has been declared by the system. At present, even after the rains have stopped, unbearable heat and cold are being seen in the middle of the rainy season.

4 demos of Amreli district have overflowed. Also in other reservoirs there has been new income. In Amreli district, Vadia Survo Dam overflow, Dhari Khodiyar Dam overflow, Savarkundla Shell Dedumal Dam overflow, Rajula Dhatrawadi Dam 1 also overflowed today. So high alert has been given by the system. On the other hand, the people of the river banks have been advised to be extra vigilant. Rain has stopped in the entire district today. Farmers are likely to benefit greatly due to the filling of these demos.
