27-year-old Pradeep Verma, originally from Uttar Pradesh, had been living in the Sri Radhakrishna Society in Surat’s Udhana area for the past 27 years. He got married five months ago and his parents were living in the village, so only the husband and wife lived here. Pradeep used to work as a tailor to support his family. 15 days before this incident, his wife was sent to his hometown and he was living with two sisters.
He was electrocuted while holding the gaspipe
When it has been raining in Surat for the last two days, the Radhakrishna Society in Udhana area was flooded with rain water. Meanwhile, Pradeep had returned home from work and was reaching the stairs to go home. However, he was electrocuted as he grabbed the iron gas pipe to get out of the side as it was full of water.

As soon as it was known that Pradeep was electrocuted, the locals tried to save him. However, a young man who went to rescue was also electrocuted. Because of this, he was seriously injured. After that the power was switched off and 108 was called and Pradeep was shifted to the civil hospital. Where the doctor on duty declared Pradeep dead.
Sister’s heartbroken cry after brother’s untimely death
The elder son of the family also died seven months ago, while the younger son also died prematurely, the family was in mourning. Both sisters were devastated by the death of their brother. Sadness was overshadowed by the heartbroken cry of the sister of the civil hospital.
