Instagram Reels Download Feature: There are reports of good news for social media platform Instagram users. This news is related to Instagram Reels. Until now, in order to share reels on Instagram, users had to set them to a story, and then download them. Some people were also resorting to third party apps to download reels, but now there is no need to do that as the company has introduced a new download option for public reels. That means now you can download public reels in one click and share them on other platforms.
This feature is similar to the feature present in TikTok. However, when downloading the reels in TikTok, they come with the company’s watermark. However, this is not currently the case with Instagram Reels. That means downloading public reels will not have any watermark. Note that currently the option to download reels is only available for US users. Gradually the company will roll it out to everyone.
This is how the reels will be downloaded –
To download the reels you have to click on share reels option
Here you will see download option, click on it. Doing so will save the reel to your camera roll.
Note- Public account users will have the right to remove the option to download reels whenever they want. That means you can disable the video from downloading. By doing this you will not be able to download the reels.

Users can share audio clips of up to 30 seconds in Instagram Notes. The company launched the Notes feature last year. Under this users can share daily update or their thoughts to others in 60 characters.
