A police complaint has been registered for illegally breaking the water line under the Saurashtra-Kutch water grid pipe line owned by Gujarat Water Infrastructure Lee Surendranagar near Daldi village of Wankaner taluka and damaging the government property and stealing water.

According to the details of the incident, Jaipal Rameshchandra Barad has filed a police complaint that he is working as an employee of a company carrying out repairs and maintenance of the scheme under the Saurashtra-Kutch water grid pipeline owned by Gujarat Water Infrastructure Lee Surendranagar. About 1200 villages of Surendranagar, Jamnagar, Porbandar and Devbhoomi Dwarka are supplied drinking water through pipelines under the scheme. Company staff along with linemen were on patrol to prevent theft of water from pipelines. At that time, water was being misused by illegally installing a pipe on the Erwal on the road side between Didhlia Daldi village of Wankaner taluk.

So I have installed this pipe given by a stranger while the lineman was doing illegal pipe removal. Next is my sand gravel ram. By saying that you will not remove the water pipe in which the water goes, Daesh made the staff members fit in a false atrocity case and created an obstacle in the operation. And telling him that he is a crime control member, I will not leave you, showing his ID card, the name Solanki Narendra Popatbhai was written in it. A complaint of water theft has been registered against Wankanerwala and standard action has been taken. HR Chauhan is conducting further investigation into the incident.
