In Molan Azad Chowk Bazar Mohalla, a heartland in the western part of Godhra, anger erupted among locals over irregular cleaning and overflowing drains. Due to which the youth collected public donations and started cleaning and small operations. The youths put up banners against the councillors. Which went viral in social media and the municipal system was running. Cleaning of drains was carried out.

A drain passes through the wall of the Rani Masjid in Bazar Mohalla, Godhra West. Due to the lack of cleaning for a long time, despite the locals making several representations to the municipality, due to the garbage in the sewers that were not cleaned, the sewers overflowed and dirty water came on the main road. Pre-monsoon work has also not been carried out for monsoon.

Many problems are also being faced due to irregular cleaning in the areas. Anger broke out among the youth of the area regarding this. 15 local youths immediately collected public contribution and undertook the work by buying cement for the potholes lying on the main road.

In many places in the area, the municipal system does not listen to our submissions. Banners were put up with such writings. The cleaning was carried out by sending cleaning workers to the municipality which went viral on social media. There is still a need for basic facilities in the area. At that time, the residents of the area said that since this area is on the border of Ward 6 and 9, there has been confusion about who should make the representations.
