A storm has spread northward from Valsad district. Due to which the effect of storm will be seen more in areas including Porbandar. Valsad district is on alert to meet the possible situation. A team of NDRF visited the lowline area of Valsad city. Along with this, a picture of the situation was obtained by visiting the coastal villages including Tithal Beach adjacent to Valsad city.
Valsad district administration is in alert mode due to Cyclone Biparjoy in Arabian Sea. A team of NDRF deployed in Valsad district visited the Tithal beach of Valsad and flood-prone and low-lying riverside areas of the city to get a picture of the situation regarding the possible impact of the cyclone. An NDRF team visited and checked at Tithal Beach in the evening and found winds blowing at a speed of about 45 kmph. The Valsad NDRF team asked the fishermen as well as the people living along the sea coast and the people in the derailed areas to follow all the instructions of the administration. It is said that the impact of the storm is less likely to occur in Valsad district. The possibility of increasing air speed due to tides was shown. The conversation was then shown to be likely to return to normal as the weather normalized.
