Dalit family presented to Jignesh Mevani.

Jan Mancha program was organized by Congress today near Khanderao Market in Vadodara city. In which Leader of Opposition Amit Chavda and Vadgam MLA Jignesh Mevani were present. Where Jignesh Mevani gave an ultimatum to the police regarding the incident with a Dalit family in Ranoli and said, file a complaint in this incident, otherwise I will stage a dharna at the residence of the Commissioner of Police or his office. It is to be mentioned that the Dalit family raised their issue before Jignesh Mevani through the Janmanch program of Congress and demanded that Jignesh Mevani understand the seriousness of the issue and take immediate action.

Talked about eating the daughter
Vadgam MLA Jignesh Mevani said, Congress is running the Jan Mancha program under the leadership of our opposition leader Amit Chavda. In that public forum Nitesh Parmar and his mother have performed in a style that can make anyone’s heart flutter with tears in their eyes. He insulted both the mother and the son on the basis of caste, spoke obscenities and talked about eating their daughter.

Apart from this, even though he was assaulted and injured, no case has been registered by Jawaharnagar Police Station for the last 3 days. In the next 3 hours, the police should file a case. Otherwise, we are going to sit on dharna at the house of the police commissioner or his office. Many such incidents are coming in front of us.

Why was the policeman not suspended?
They further said that such incidents will not happen with any caste or religion person of the city. Everyone has the right to equality in the country. I am going to go to the Commissioner of Police to ask for an explanation as to why this policeman should not be suspended even though the policeman is being threatened in the presence of a policeman in a police station.

Police are not taking any action
Victim woman Jayaben Parmar said, I don’t have money, I want justice. No one is ready to listen to me. His son Nitesh Parmar said, caste-based insults against us. But the police does not take any action.
