Mahisagar Local Crime Branch has seized bottles of foreign liquor based on information. LCB Police Inspector RD Bharwad has nabbed two accused with bottles of foreign liquor from Swift car from Koydam village of Virpur taluka on information and found liquor, car worth Rs. 2,78,130 has been seized.

The staff members of Mahisagar Local Crime Branch were patrolling and checking vehicles in different areas of the district in different teams. Meanwhile, Police Inspector RD Bharwad got information that a swift vehicle is coming towards Koydam village in Virpur police station area loaded with foreign liquor. Informing the LCB staff men about such information, the staff men were standing in a private car on the outskirts of Chikhli Zoj village to watch the sadar news car. Meanwhile, the informed Swift car intercepted the private vehicles on the coming road and sped the Swift car with two wheels.

After checking the vehicle, a total of 838 Indian-made glass bottles and beer tins were found in the vehicle, with a total value of Rs 78,130 and a Swift vehicle used in liquor smuggling worth Rs 2 lakh was found, with a total value of Rs 2,78,130. So the accused Kamlesh Chandubhai Damor, Manilal Saliyabhai Bamaniya has been fast-tracked by the Mahisagar local crime branch on the basis of information and legal action has been taken.
